#45 🔹 Three days to strengthen my skills in responding to EU calls for proposals! 🔹

I recently took part in an intensive 3-day workshop organized by Fondazione PuntoSud Academy, designed to master the key steps of drafting project proposals funded by European Commission (DG INTPA, DG MENA, DG ENEST, DG ECHO (European Commission – Development Cooperation).

👉 What I learned:
– How to analyze EU programming documents to anticipate funding priorities
– How to effectively respond to a call for proposals: from concept note to full application, logframe, and budget
– How to build strong, strategic consortia and engage with EU delegations
– A clearer understanding of the EU funding landscape and positioning strategies

🎯 What stood out the most: the importance of strategic preparation, clear and compelling storytelling, and a coherent financial proposal to maximize success.

💡 With my background in the private sector — especially in strategic marketing and project management — I’m convinced these skills are highly valuable for NGOs:
– Structuring proposals with clarity and impact
– Making a project readable, differentiated, and results-oriented
– Building strong communication strategies around project initiatives
– Creating long-lasting, meaningful partnerships.
